Instructor: Ján Petrovič

About the instructor:

Ján Petrovič is a musician, teacher, seller, and maker of musical instruments, as well as a Sahaja Yogi from Slovakia.

Since 2009, he has led hundreds of courses, team buildings, workshops, drum circles, and meditation sessions both in Slovakia and abroad.

As a musician, he has performed and collaborated in various music projects and genres. In recent years, he has focused primarily on world music and playing ethnic instruments and percussion.

He has played numerous concerts in seven countries around the world. In 2023, he completed a tour of India as a member of a large international orchestra, performing 15 concerts across the country.

He is the founder and director of the Svet bubnov (World of Drums) drum school and percussion orchestra in Malacky, Slovakia.

He also sells authentic musical instruments, drums, and percussion from around the world. He works with traditional workshops in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and under the Petrovič Drums brand, he produces professional djembes and frame drums.
